Good weekend

This weekend, I had good time.Saturday morning got up from a satisfying sleep at 11...had lunch and got engrossed in local newspaper( headlines...were quite interesting..it was about chinese tourists...how they were rude ....it was basically to warn singaporean authorities to tackle sucj kind of situations) then had lunch and set out to play cricket at our univ ground.Many people turned up by 1530 and as ususal dinish and naveen choose the teams and as ususal i was in naveen team.first match we were very close,but finally we loose they scored arnd 60 and we were arnd 50 all out..this was the first time i was very stable during batting for about 20 min...i hit one four and abt 10 -12 single runs...but i was runout later...then second match we batted first and scored arnd 55 and i was runout soon.Dinish's team could not stand ramakanth's and sharath's bowling.they got out soon.Only Dinish was stable for a while.but he gave me a catch.he went for cover drive and i took a good catch there.finally we won the second match.
Later that night i went to Dinish's place.They were cooking chicken so i joined them.i thought they would cook hicken with gravy and stuff .But to my suprise Reju sir..who had taken the incharge of our dinner was interested to experiment.So he and Jinu decided to grill chicken instead of roasting.They started with removing the skin of the chicken ..as all the three are very consicous of fat...so their experiment had to take care that ISSUE.But the method and reciepe were simple.First they took raw chicken... washed it thouroughly and then cut into pieces.Then they made deep cuts into the flesh.Simultaneously,they were making a paste which would be put on the chicken pieces.I was basically observing and asking questions...Reju sir took some salt,some chilli powder,some pepper powder,tumeric powder and mixed with little oil to make whole stuff to a paste.Then he applied this paste on the chicken pieces...Now it looked lot professional and nothing experimental :).Then they put the stuff in a grill oven for 20 minutes ...Intially it appreared that grill was not working......but finally we could see the chicken changing its color.After 30 min...we could smell the chicken...properly cooked.
We had a great dinner with that grilled chicken .....we spent only 5 sgd for chicken,electricity and other consumables...simple method...that too for four people...and most importantly it was the success of an experiment....no wonder as we were all researchers..and success in experiment is always welcomed :).
i came home that night with a satisfying dinner and then read a new book( The Hungry tide by Amitav gosh) ..actually not finished yet.Sunday..morning came to office did some work...and then went back late in the evenign and continued reading tat book.
so finally to conclude... i had a good time this weekend with cricket and AWESOME dinner.

My apartment..my owners granddaughter..SHERRY..she is around 5 months old..and i have been in this apartment for 6 months..She is not starting to crawl..last time when she was 3 months old.. i gifted her a mickey mouse doll..later realised that it was not the correct time for her to even realise its a doll..I shud have waited for some more time ..so that she liked it. 

My friends wedding

Yeah..this month..my friend priyanka got married.The marriage was in hyderabad and i heard that many of my friends went down to their marriage..i too had plans to go ..but due to some reasons i had to step back..

i am going on with my life..learning new things..forgetting many old things(funny rite)..Last week i have been coming late to the office and leaving late to the home and sleep late (2 am)..that is kind of irritating me..in the morning..my productivity is falling down...
I hope to work next week according to my schedule..
This is a long weekend( 3 days..) so far not used it effectively..saw bunch of movies..and chatted a lot..so i still have one and half days..to do something i planned ...on wednesday..I wish i complete by sunday night.

Seems that my friends had a mini reunion..during the weeding of my friend priyanka..Starting from right..nandhini,harita,nalini,pasha,praveen,stephen,goutham,naveen,sunil,ramesh,praveen,lakshimi prasanna,nagini,aparna..Its so good to meet friends. 

Ram and my friend Priyanka( PINKU)..They recently got married...I am very happy for her..

I shoud forgive myself for not blogging last weekend as I was busy doing some work in office.Well I was paid to work laast weekend and the their was deadline on tuesday so I had to rush.
But I managed to watch a movie .. at the nearby movie hall( I dint wanted those guys to get disappointed) :)
Today is saturday,most of time I spent browsing and doing little of office work.In the evening I went to my weekly job of watching a movie and this time I went to "Oceans Twelve" It was BULLSHIT.so lets dont talk abt it.Before going to the movie had my dinner at McDonalds and they have new item on their menu " .."( Oh shit@ i forgot it so soon) But as far as i remember it was called some crossover made of chicken.I enjoyed it with both mainesse and chill sauce.But well it was good and i would love to have it next time also.eating with chill sauce and mainesse remainded me of one my old friend who used to eat noodles with lot of chili sauce(green one) and tomato ketchup...actually it was good ..
After the movie I went to coffe bean and took a Cafe latte and moved for some shopping..thought of buying a thing for a special one I may meet :)..so went to see some tops but could not finally decide any one(as there was no special one in my mind).So came back from the shop.i bought a black casual shirt for myself.it looks good.
In the evening I went to lib and borrowed The atlas shrugged.Read two pages ...so still to read on that.I had actually bought classic "The phantom of opera" by Gaston lernoux( if i am not wrong).About to finish it may be tonight.Well its about a opera ghost and blah blah...I picked it as it was thin and very cheap...

Atlas shrugged will take most of my time for two weekends I guess..wish I can finish it soon ...

So thats been my life ...after getting my job...pampering my self with movies..good shopping..and many more in near future..
I am also planning to buy a laptop and also PDA ( its crazy rite?)...But well I wanted to buy a laptop from a long time so this time I am not going bac on this.


Well sometimes I feel alone...but its OK at this moment...I feel that only on weekends...but it heightens up when i go alone to movie and I am given a last seat in the row as i am alone...thats SUCKs!..So i have been watcghing in line around 6 movies on row every weekeend and all I am sitting on last seat of the row..( sad isnt it?) but no problem...

rest of the time I am happy ...with my work and wat ever i am doing.
